AEC Assistant Update 1 (July 2025)
Month one of AEC Assistant (July 2025): jurisdiction-aware search, multi-image queries, team plans and two new calculators. Superseded; see Update 3 for the current product.
Superseded (2 September 2026). This is the first monthly update, from July 2025. The plans, tools and roadmap items it describes have changed since: team seats are now part of the Plus and Max plans, the calculators moved to app.aecassistant.com.au/tools, PDF upload shipped as project documents, and the mobile app and library described under "on the horizon" were not built. For the current product see Update 3 and the current plans.
Editor's note (28 September 2026). Four screenshots from July 2025 have been removed from this post. They showed calculators that have since been retired, code editions that have since been superseded, and example prompts that named Standards by designations that have since changed.

Choose your state or territory in the main search and AEC Assistant automatically pulls from the right planning schemes, Acts and regulations—no more wading through irrelevant rules.
Multi-image upload (up to 10)
Need to show us the whole problem? Attach up to 10 images (10 MB each) in a single query for richer, faster answers.

One subscription, multiple seats and a generous discount. Add or remove seats any time to fit your workflow.

Dark-mode facelift – deeper blacks, better contrast and consistent brand colours so late-night searches wont scorch your retinas.

Sometimes a question can be interpreted in multiple ways. AEC Assistant is designed to ensure your query is answered as accurately as possible, every time. If your question is unclear or a bit vague, the AEC Assistant will now offer three clarifying questions to help guide you toward a more precise and helpful response.
